welcome! i’m m/branson (she/her), an artist creating pieces that are part geometric abstraction, part minimal expressionism. inspired by interactions with the world around us, think of my pieces as futuristic nostalgia…capturing those moments between yesterday and forever.

along with analog and digital drawings, i’m learning javascript, processing and p5js. i recently released my first curated (i.e. short form) generative art series. photography was my first creative love and is a vital part of my process. i also write + interview fellow artists. overall i enjoy observing and interpreting things.

before working in the visual space i spent ~7 years as a firefighter / paramedic. that work took me to antarctica, which became a pivotal life experience and shaped my outlook on what matters. it was there i realized i wanted to make a life, not a living. in the time since that experience i’ve also come to understand that we all have the ability to bridge the magic and the mundane. i do this through my art, by finding the beauty (and tension) of what has been and what is possible.

if you’re keen to follow along with my art, checkout my newsletter, subscribe to art drops or find me on socials at farcaster or twitter/x.

thanks for being here!
